The Care Reader was originally pitched to me as a PDF of links and writing to accompany the 2020 PNCA Graduate Symposium: "Forms of Care: Building the Worlds We Need." I saw the potential for something cooler, and decided to build a website instead. It is built with accessability as a foremost concern, so each of the links are accompanied by icons that show if they are internal or external, preparing the user for a new window to open. My favorite detail in the experience is the movable border between the main and aside sections. My overall favorite part of the project is the 3D animations I made to accompany the text. I am so grateful to have been a part of this project, it is an amazing resource around topics I care deeply about, and it is so special to design for projects that are so in-line with my interests and personal ethics.
